William I Winton, King of Manticore, was the ninth reigning monarch of the Star Kingdom of Manticore from 1681 to 1690 PD.
In 1685 PD, the King's Bench rendered a decision to forever ban any legal challenges to the treecats' rights as a sentient species. (Companion)
He was the first Manticoran monarch to be assassinated, being murdered by a psychotic during the ninth T-year of his reign. (UHH)
