Włodzimierz Ziomkowski was a Włocławekan citizen, professor, and politician, born in 1822 PD[1].
He was the uncle of Szymon Ziomkowski and Tomasz Szponder was his former graduate student.
He, Szponder, and other idealistic college students were behind much of the initial enthusiasm of the Ruch Odnowy Narodowej.
The Hotel Orle Gniazdo in Lądowisko on Włocławek was renamed the Hotel Włodzimierz Ziomkowski in 1916[2] in his honor by his nephew. (SI4)
