The Vogel class^[1] was an Andermani type of armed collier built by the Gopfert Yard of New Berlin in the 19th Century PD.

Class Design[]

Vogel-class ships were meant as fleet supply ships that would operate with warships. As such they possessed not only a military-grade inertial compensator and the impellers and particle shields as well. Additionally, they possessed fairly respectable sidewall generators.

History[]

At least one Vogel-class collier was refitted as an armed merchantman for former Royal Manticoran Navy captain Thomas Bachfisch and held a commission as an auxiliary warship with the Silesian Confederate Navy, plying the trading routes of the Silesian Confederacy. (HH10)
