The Tarantel was a Stilio-class battlecruiser of the Volsung Mercenaries.
History
A recent acquisition in 1544 PD, the Tarantel[1] was not present in the Walther System when Admiral Cutler Gensonne departed with the rest of his battlecruisers and heavy cruisers in the company of Axelrod Corporation operative Jeremiah Llyn for the Danak System.
She therefore remained on station at Walther until the system was attacked by a joint Andermani-Manticoran force. (MA3)
