The claim that male Detweiler were essentially clones of Leonard Detweiler cannot be true. DW says in at least one place that the alpha lines of the Alignment breeding program had more in common with the slaves Manpower was breeding than with humanity as a whole. Thus, the alpha (and perhaps beta) lines have been altered repeatedly. And the Detweilers, being the alphas of the alphas, must also have been altered with frequency, and so cannot be, males or females, clones of the original Leonard Detweiler. Albrecht Detweiler's 'sons', on the other hand are his own clones. Comment??````
