New design[]

As you can see this is a prototype page for what I envisioned for the vessels and people. Suggestions are welcomed. Farragut79 05:50, August 31, 2010 (UTC)

It reminds me of the ship articles on the Babylon 5 wiki. I would have to wonder whether you could do it with every ship article since I don't think we have complete specs on all of them. -- DarkScribe 06:29, August 31, 2010 (UTC)
The article looks really great now. Of course the box will only be that full in the few cases where the class was described in detail in Jayne's, but that shouldn't be a problem. -- SaganamiFan 08:46, August 31, 2010 (UTC)
It is similar because of the background and such. I was trying to get the name box in a dark green color to make it look like Havenite colors and I am hoping to do this with the majority of the ship classes where we have have info. Pictures will be the generic side profile or the national flag or "just a we dont have a picture" picture. --Farragut79 14:34, August 31, 2010 (UTC)

I suggest the additional info (example for Admiral-class), like in Wikipedia, or even re-think the issue and use template from Wikipedia:

  • Preceded by: Courageous-class
  • Succeeded by: G3 battlecruiser

I get what your saying, got idea. Do we want this template for just the Havenites or for all ship classes?--Farragut79 18:15, September 4, 2010 (UTC)
All. --dotz 05:04, September 5, 2010 (UTC)
I must have made a mistake somewhere on the template because I cannot get Auxiliary Craft to show. Does anyone know how I can fix it? --Farragut79 13:59, September 5, 2010 (UTC)

Solarian Influence on the design[]

The design was essentially copied from the SLN's Liberty-class and even the mission profile was copied from the SLN. So would it be safe to assume that various systems designed to keep up the endurance of the class was copied from the SLN? Such as the ship's power core and we know that the decoys are reverse-engineered Solarian ones. --Farragut79 04:00, September 1, 2010 (UTC)

Sollies sold their old and downgraded units. Haven was probably able to copy or develop such devices (waiting for Liberty-class specifications). --dotz 14:03, September 1, 2010 (UTC)
