The Talbott Sector was the Solarian designated name for the area of space that included the Talbott Cluster.
In 1922 PD, it was the standing policy of the Office of Frontier Security to insist on continuing to use the name even after the area's annexation by the Star Empire of Manticore as it was the public position of OFS that the annexation and incorporation of the Talbott Quadrant into the SEM was legally suspect.
