The Star of Grayson was the highest medal awarded in the Protectorate of Grayson, equal in importance to the Parliamentary Medal of Valor of the Star Kingdom of Manticore.
The most recent recipient of the Star was traditionally automatically appointed as Protector's Champion.
It was slightly higher in prestige than the Manticore Cross. (HH1, HH2)
Crossed Swords[]
The addition of Crossed Swords to the Star meant that the wearer had won the Star more than once. Only two people in the history of Grayson had ever received the Crossed Swords. (HH2)
