The Silversmith Hotel was a hotel in the city of Old Chicago on Earth.
Located in the Loop, the hotel's brochures claimed that it predated the Diaspora and, while not in the same building, that a Silversmith Hotel had been in the same location for nearly three millennium.
In 1923 PD, it was a comfortable, reasonably priced, down on its heels haven with a welcoming, lower class respectability. In August of that year, Kayla Barrett and Jake Abrams stayed at the Silversmith Hotel while on Earth. (CS4)
