Dr. Sara Kate Lessem (née Tillman), MD, was a Manticoran citizen and medical doctor, and an officer of the Royal Manticoran Navy-

Biography[]
She was a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism, with special interest in pre-Diaspora ballroom dancing, and was introduced to Honor Harrington by the latter's uncle, Jacques Chou. They became well acquainted afterwards.
She joined the Royal Manticoran Navy's medical division and later married fellow naval officer Martin Lessem in 1919 PD.[1]
By 1923 PD, she had risen to the rank of Captain and served as Commodore Alfred Harrington's assistant director, as well as head of the Nursing and Physical Therapy department, at Bassingford Medical Center in Landing. (HH14)
