Robert Davison was a Manticoran citizen and an officer of the Royal Manticoran Navy.
Holding the rank of Captain in the early 1530s PD, he served as commanding officer of the battlecruiser HMS Vanguard. He was widely considered one of the less capable ship commanders of his time. (MA1)
In or slightly before 1543 PD, he retired from the Navy, and was replaced as captain of Vanguard by Trina Clegg. (MA3)
