Biography
Richard Harrington orginally lived on the planet Meyerdahl in the Solarian League and held degrees in Terran and xeno-veterinary medicine. He and his wife, Marjorie, had a daughter they named Stephanie, born in 1507.
He and his family migrated to the planet Sphinx in the newly created Star Kingdom of Manticore aboard the starship Madeleine Davenport in 1518 PD, thus founding the Manticoran Harrington Clan. Harrington was employed as a terran and xeno-veterinarian. He and his wife were highly sought-after specialists, and were able to pay for their travel to Manticore almost completely on their own, so the government land credit allowed them to buy a large estate on Sphinx. After his daughters discovery of treecats, he compiled the first studies of their physiology. (HHA1.1: ABF, SK1)
