Red Cliff was a Sphinxian treecat of the Swaying Fronds Clan.
He was born to a different clan, but wandered to the grounds of the Swaying Fronds, drawn by the beautiful mind-glow of a young female named Speckles, who was soon renamed Beautiful Mind.
Red Cliff and Beautiful Mind raised several litters together, the last of which was born in the spring prior to the 1521 PD fire season. However, one of their 'kittens was killed in the flames of a forest fire, and its mother suffered terrible wounds. Her possible death drove Red Cliff mad with grief, until he abandoned his clan and went off into the forest.
He was eventually killed by the Trees Enfolding Clan when he wandered into their territory. (SK3)
