Perimeter Security Command was the Royal Manticoran Navy command responsible for the detection of and coordinated response to possible threats to the Manticore System.
Its motto was "Always Vigilant".

PSC was based aboard the space station HMSS Hephaestus and performed its responsibilities through the use of large arrays to monitor all traffic within the Manticore Binary System in addition to every hyper footprint or possible hyper footprint within a light-month of the system. Upon detection of an unidentified hyper footprint, Perimeter Security Command raised an alarm and either a cruiser or destroyer division was dispatched to investigate. (HH12)
