PNS Alexander was a Conqueror-class light cruiser of the People's Navy.

In 1905 PD, shortly before the outbreak of the First Havenite-Manticoran War, Alexander was assigned to Admiral Yuri Rollins' Seaford Nine task force, and was routinely deployed to the Manticoran Alliance systems in Admiral Rollins' area of responsibility to recover intelligence on Allied naval operations gathered by the covert Argus net.
During one such mission in the Yorik System, Alexander was accidentally detected by a Royal Manticoran Navy destroyer division while downloading information from an Argus platform. To evade the Manticoran ships, Alexander was forced to withdraw from the system, thus alerting the Allies to the covert scouting operations conducted from Seaford Nine. (HH3)
