The Office of Public Information, or PubIn, was a department of the Havenite government charged with putting out news and propaganda.
History[]
In 1901 PD, the Office, referred to as the "Haven Information Ministry" by Manticorans, put out that Honor Harrington attacked a defenseless freighter, and killed the crew. This led to a Havenite court convicting her of murder. (HH1)

When the Committee of Public Safety took over the Republic, Cordelia Ransom was given control of the Office as Secretary for Public Information. (HH4)
After the destruction of the Committee, the property of Public Information was auctioned off. Roland Henneman bought a large amount of the equipment and founded The Henneman Hour. (HH10)
