Michel Reynaud was a Manticoran citizen and an officer of the Royal Manticoran Astro-Control Service.
Biography[]
In 1896 PD, Michel[1] Reynaud was the assistant chief controller of Basilisk Traffic Control. By 1899 PD, he had been promoted to Captain, and was in command of Basilisk Traffic Control as the chief controller. In 1900 PD, he was surprised that HMS Fearless sent over an customs inspection team. He did not care for Captain Pavel Young of HMS Warlock, in fact he thought that Young was the worst officer ever to serve on Basilisk Station.
Reynaud was very pleased with the work of Lieutenant Andreas Venizelos' inspection team and sent letters of commendation back to Manticore. (HH1)
He was later promoted to Rear Admiral, and was among those to send his condolences to Honor Harrington after Paul Tankersley had been killed. (HH4)
His was promoted to Vice Admiral by the time of Operation Icarus and continued to command Basilisk Control until the local infrastructure was destroyed by the People's Navy. As a full Admiral, he was put in command of the Royal Manticoran Astrophysics Investigation Agency. (HH8, HH10)
