Mesan Naval Affairs

Mesa influenced the strategic situation of the galaxy by a number of means, including, but not limited to, conventional military forces, like:

• the Mesan Alignment Navy – the military arm of the Mesan Alignment (SI2, HH12)
• Mesan Space Navy - the official navy
• prospective constituents of the Mesan Alignment Navy, like the Mannerheim System-Defense Force (CS2)
• private Mesan forces:
  • a LAC picket in the Verdant Vista System, organized by Manpower Incorporated (CS1)
  • a picket protecting the colony on Kuy (CS1)
  • slaver ships, including AMCs, owned by the Jessyk Combine (SI1)
• controlled rogue forces:
  • so-called "Four Yahoos" in the neighborhood of Erewhon, provided with four heavy cruisers (HHA4.6: TSotS)
  • the People's Navy in Exile, provided with 10 battlecruisers, 5 light cruisers, 16 destroyers, improved missiles, logistic and financial support (CS2)
• influenced forces:
  • some criminal organizations in the Silesian Confederacy, provided with warships (SI1)
  • the People's First Liberation Squadron, provided with logistic support, destroyed before the People's Navy in Exile was established (SI1)
  • the Monican Navy, provided with 14 battlecruisers and system defense missile pods, as well as technical and financial support (SI1)
  • the Solarian League Navy, with members (including some supreme commanding officers) being influenced via some convenient means such as bribery, blackmail or nanotechs (SI2)

It seems the Mesan Alignment obtained from Technodyne Industries the equivalent of at least three battlecruiser squadrons.
