McAllister was a Manticoran citizen and an officer of the Royal Manticoran Navy.
Holding the rank of Lieutenant Commander, he served as the commanding officer of the destroyer HMS Hotspur, one of the escorts commanded by Captain Helen Zilwicki for the convoy bound for the Grendelsbane System. He was killed when Hotspur was destroyed by Havenite raiders along with the other escorts. (HH3)
