Marshall Gogunov was a Solarian citizen and an officer of the Solarian League Navy's Battle Fleet.
He came from a proud family of military officers; all four of his younger siblings also served in the SLN.
Holding the rank of Vice Admiral in 1922 PD, he served in the Task Force 496 under Fleet Admiral Sandra Crandall. He was killed in the Battle of Spindle. (HH14)
