Joseph Saunders was a Manticoran citizen and an officer of the Royal Manticoran Navy.
Holding the rank of Lieutenant, he served as assistant astrogation officer aboard HMS War Maiden. He replaced Lieutenant Elvis Santino as Officer Candidate Training Officer on Honor Harrington midshipwoman cruise and was later killed in the engagement against PSN Annika. (HHA3.1: MMH)
