The John Brown class[1][2] was a class of frigate constructed by the Hauptman Yards of Manticore and operated initially by the Anti-Slavery League[3] before being transferred into the service of the newly established Kingdom of Torch.
Class Role[]
Units of the John Brown class were designed and equipped for anti-piracy and anti-slaving operations, their high acceleration rate being one of their significant advantages. (CS1)
Known Ships of the Class[]
Seven vessels of this class were delivered before production changed to the newer Nat Turner class.
Commissioned in 1918 PD, the first vessels of the class were the Pottawatomie Creek and Harper's Ferry. (CS1Ch17, CS3)
