Idaho was one of the United States of Amercia on Earth's western hemisphere.
In the late 4th Century PD, Idaho was home to the Church of Humanity Unchained. In reaction to the corrupting influence of modern life, and modern technology, they decided to leave Earth to found a better society by starting acolony on another planet. (HH2)
The Idaho continent on Grayson was named after the state. (HH5)
