What is canon?[]
The primary canon works of the Honorverse are the Honor Harrington novels by David Weber, as well as the spin-off series Saganami Island and Crown of Slaves and the Worlds of Honor anthologies.
Licenced written and graphic material like that of Baen Books and Ad Astra Games also qualifies as canon:
- Jayne's Intelligence Review # 1 + 2
- the Ships of the Fleet calendars
- the Saganami Island Tactical Simulator
What is not canon?[]
Fan fiction is not considered canon and should not be entered into our articles, even if it doesn't contradict other material.
Fan-made statistics and starship designs not based on authorized material are also non-canon.
