Hill class was the name given to three Manticoran Reliant-class battlecruisers sold to the Protectorate of Grayson in the early days of the Alliance.
The ships usually operated alongside Grayson-built Raoul Courvosier-class units, given their similar missile combat characteristics, but their their mixed laser/graser beam mount fit remained ill-suited for Grayson Space Navy doctrine.
All three vessels were eventually attached to the Protector's Own, and typically employed as flagships for small independent detachments.[1]
