HMS Tristram was a Roland-class destroyer of the Royal Manticoran Navy.

While she was a RMN destroyer, a significant portion of the ship's company were members of the Grayson Space Navy. (SI2,HH12)

Service Record

In 1921 PD, she was commissioned as one of the first of her class and assigned to Destroyer Squadron 301. Commanded by Commander Naomi Kaplan, she and the rest of her squadron were assigned to the Tenth Fleet in the Talbott Quadrant. While operating in the Quadrant, she and the three other destroyers of her division traveled to the New Tuscany System, where subsequent events led to the New Tuscany Incident. Later that year, Tristram, the sole survivor of her division, participated in the Second Battle of New Tuscany. (SI2)

Early in 1922 PD, Tristram, along with the rest of the Tenth Fleet, participated in the Battle of Spindle. Subsequently, she and the rest of her squadron were deployed to the Saltash System to collect and repatriate two Manticoran merchantmen and their companies that had been illegally detained by local Office of Frontier Security governor, Damián Dueñas, leading to the Battle of Saltash. Late in 1922 PD, she was assigned to transport captured former Solarian League Gendarme and Mesan Alignment agent Damien Harahap to Manticore. (HH12,SI3,HH14)
