HMS Nike (BC-01) was a legendary battlecruiser of the Royal Manticoran Navy.

The third RMN vessel of her name, the ship was built in 1590 PD and assigned the hull number BC-01 after HMS Triumph was reclassified as a heavy cruiser with the hull number CA-99. (JIR1)

In 1672 PD, the Nike was the flagship of Commodore Edward Saganami's anti-piracy force sent to the Silesian Confederacy, and fought in the Battle of Trautman's Star. (SI1)

On August 11th of the same year, Nike went down in history defending a convoy against pirates in the Battle of Carson. After fighting bravely against seemingly impossible odds, the ship was destroyed, killing the entire crew and Commodore Saganami. Since those days, there was always a battlecruiser named Nike in service in the RMN, carrying the name and battle honors of her legendary predecessor. (HH3)
