HMS Javelin was a destroyer of the Royal Manticoran Navy.
Service Record[]
Commanded by Commander Joseph Zachariah[1], she was part of Destroyer Squadron 265 in the Home Fleet.
In early 1922 PD, HMS Javelin, along with her division mates, was dispatched by Perimeter Security Command in the Manticore System to investigate a ghost hyper footprint one light-month outside the system. Unbeknownst to Zachariah, his crew, anyone on the other destroyers or at Perimeter Security, the ghost footprint denoted the arrival of the Mesan Alignment Navy strike forces conducting Operation Oyster Bay. However, the Mesan strike forces had already escaped into stealth when Javelin and her consorts arrived. Finding nothing, the destroyers remained on station for two weeks per standing operating procedure. (HH12)
