Service Record[]
In 1543 PD, she was commanded by Commodore Rudolph Heissman and fought in the battle against the Volsung Mercenaries. (HHA6.2: ACTA)
Following the Battle of Manticore and the subsequent attempted invasion of the Star Kingdom by forces of the Free Duchy of Barca, sponsored by Axelrod of Terra, three weeks later, HMS Casey was sent on a mission to the Silesian Confederacy to show the flag, gain shipbuilding contracts and investigate the origin of the forces which had attacked Manticore. With aid from forces of the Andermani Empire, Casey was able to capture the mercenaries' database intact and return it to the Star Kingdom. (MA3)
With her return to the Star Kingdom, Casey underwent several months of inspections and evaluations that made her unable to escort a Manticoran delegation to the Andermani Empire in 1545 PD. (MA4)
