The Grayson Heir Apparent was the heir to the Protectorship of Grayson, usually the oldest male child of the incumbent Protector. As the Protector himself could not hold a steadholdership, the heir apparent was also Steadholder Mayhew.
In the early 1900s PD, the position was held by Bernard Mayhew, oldest son of Benjamin IX. (HH9)
