Gomez was a Solarian citizen and an officer of the Solarian League Navy.
In 1921 PD, he held the rank of Vice Admiral and was in command of the SLN force that destroyed the orbital industry of the Bryant System as part of Operation Buccaneer. He did, however, allow the Bryantese to completely evacuate their space habitats before blowing them up. (HH14)
