Gianna Ascher was a Manticoran citizen and an enlisted crewmember of the Royal Manticoran Navy.
Biography[]
Holding the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer, she was the senior noncom in the heavy cruiser HMS Prince Adrian's combat information center. She was among those who were captured when the ship surrendered to the People's Navy during the Third Battle of Adler. (HH7)
She later survived the escape from the Havenite prison ship PNS Tepes and made it to the surface of Hades. She created the carrier with which Commodore Honor Harrington carried her injured treecat companion, Nimitz, around while on the planet. (HH8)
