Dr. Franz Illescue was a Manticoran citizen and physician.

Illescue was on the short side, dark haired and slightly built, with a closely trimmed beard. (HH11)
Biography[]
Franz Illescue came from one of the best medical families in the Star Kingdom of Manticore, his family having been physicians ever since the Great Plague. He and Alfred Harrington were at medical school together on Beowulf. They did not get along with each other very well, especially since they shared an interest in Allison Chou. (HHA6.3: BATB)
In 1920 PD, Illescue served as head of staff and senior partner of the Briarwood Reproduction Center in Landing, overseeing the pregnancies of Honor Harrington and Emily Alexander. After information on both cases was leaked to the Landing Tattler, he was furious, demanding the leak to be found. Soon after, he personally apologized to Duchess Harrington for the violation of her confidentiality, instructed his legal staff not to contest any damages she might choose to seek, and informed the billing department that all additional services were to be billed at no charge to her.
