System date/time problems[]

Look at the revision history of Star Kingdom of Manticore. The edit which is attributed to myself as of Feb 8 2011 was actually made in December. Who knows how accurate the rest of those dates are - particularly the dozens since mine. I'll try to figure it out from diffs to see if it was just my one edit or many of them which are mis dated. --TribbleFurSuit 19:04, January 3, 2012 (UTC)

OK, it looks like every single one of over 60 edits to that page since late December 2011 is mis dated, and who knows about all the edits before that. K so does this wiki have a leader or a techy who might be motivated to investigate? It could indicate a wider problem, or not, I don't know. Even one page with bad history is too many, IMO. If there is nobody who's in a position to do that kind of wikimastering or troubleshooting, let me know because I might could find some time. --TribbleFurSuit

Wiki Revamp[]

This is just a proposal.

I was thinking about how about changing the wiki into a more in-universe name, like Encyclopedia Manticora or something similar to Encyclopedia Britannica. The Administrators would take in-universe names like Sir James Dotz or Lord Patrick Saganami or Admiral Sir Frederick Holtz, Count Farragut. In Torch of Freedom, there is an exerpt from a future reference book, we can establish like 2114 PD. --Farragut79 (talk) 03:21, April 26, 2014 (UTC)

Encyclopaedia Honorversana (what does "Honor" sound in Latin?). But c.a. 8k articles only. IMHO use of military grades or nobility titles for members of our community is exaggeration, but everybody is free to create and change her/his avatar :). BTW dotz is from doc/MD. --dotz (talk) 08:34, April 28, 2014 (UTC)

Expected Convention/Standard?[]

If an article title is incorrect, what is the preferred course of action? To move the article (in which case, how?) or to create a new article and redirect? The case is this - a ship article has an incorrect pendant number in the title (as well as the body of the text). I know how to edit the text to fix the error, and I know how to find all the pages that link to it as well. I just don't know if I can/how to change the article title itself, since that's also the filename. Thanks. W. Underhill (talk) 05:09, March 22, 2015 (UTC)

if the article in question is the one for the latest NIKE the mistake is apparently in the books it is apparently given both name in 2 different book, I also noticed it but later found a supposed explaination I never managed to verify. that being said it would not be the first mistake and clearly not the biggest lol look at the all ship resizing fiasco
