Evelyn "Eve" Chandler was a Manticoran citizen and an officer of the Royal Manticoran Navy.
Physical appearance[]
She had red hair and was barely tall enough to reach Honor Harrington's shoulders. She had blue eyes, a firm handshake, and a tough, no-nonsense look about her. (HH3)
Biography[]
In 1904 PD, she held the rank of Commander and served as the Tactical Officer aboard the newly commissioned battlecruiser HMS Nike (BC-413). In the 1905 PD First Battle of Hancock, she was in control of the tactical net. (HH3)
Afterwards, when Michelle Henke was promoted and given her own command, Chandler took over as Nike's Executive Officer, and de-facto acting CO when Captain Harrington had other matters to attend to on Grayson. (HH4)
Prior to 1920 PD, she received a promotion to Captain and commanded HMS Queen Samantha in Home Fleet.
Early in the Second Havenite-Manticoran War, Chandler was promoted to the rank of Commodore and assigned to command Cruiser Squadron 50 in the Ninth Fleet deployed to the Royal Manticoran Navy's Silesian Station. (HHA7.3: TSC)
