Seal of BuWeaps
The Bureau of Weapons (BuWeaps) was a department of the Royal Manticoran Navy responsible for all research and development of weapons systems in association with the fiscal directions of the Second Lord of the Admiralty.
Headed by the Fourth Space Lord, BuWeaps was additionally responsible for the construction and distribution of weapons systems, ordnance, and other consumables in coordination with Logistics Command at the Bureau of Ships. (Companion)

In 1903 PD, BuWeaps had made a considerable breakthrough with the reconnaissance drone that was considered confidential. (HH2)
