Bernard Mayhew VIIwas the Protector of Grayson around the year 1704 PD.
He was the last Protector to be invited to anything other than formal or state occasions by someone outside the Mayhew Clan or its core septs for over 200 T-years. When John Mackenzie XI invited him and his wives over for a surprise birthday party on June 10, 3807 CE, the experience made a profound impression on Bernard VII, for he recorded the actual menu, including the ice cream flavors, in his personal diary.
