Lady Dame Beatrice McDermott, Baroness Alb, was a Manticoran peer of the realm and an officer of the Royal Manticoran Navy.
Biography[]
In 1920 PD, she held the rank of Vice Admiral and served as the Commandant of the Royal Manticoran Naval Academy on Saganami Island. She was seated next to Honor Harrington at the Last View ceremony for that year's graduates. (SI1)
Vice Admiral McDermott was reassigned to space duty a while later, and was killed in the Battle of Manticore.[1] (Companion)
