The Austin Grayson class was a class of light cruisers of the Grayson Space Navy.
The largest warships to be constructed by the Protectorate of Grayson prior to its alliance with the Star Kingdom of Manticore, they were considerably smaller and obsolete in comparison to the light cruisers of other navies. (HH2)
Only two ships of this class were built; the Austin Grayson was destroyed in the First Battle of Yeltsin's Star, while the Covington survived and was soon decommissioned when the alliance with the Star Kingdom of Manticore gave the Protectorate access to more modern ship designs. The Covington became a museum ship in orbit over Grayson. (Companion)
