Biography
In 1905 PD, Houseman held the rank of Commander, and he served as Commodore Stephen Van Slyke's chief of staff. Due to his cousin's past experience with Captain Honor Harrington, he share his dislike of her. He later conspired with Captain Lord Pavel Young to poison Van Slyke's opinion of Harrington. He attended an all-squadron meeting aboard the battlecruiser HMS Nike after a poor performance during a battle exercise. He was quite good at his job, which was the main reason that Van Slyke kept him around. (HH3)
