Aristophones Georgides was a Manticoran citizen and an officer of the Royal Manticoran Navy.
Biography[]
He was a native of the planet Sphinx, born to a family of Greek ancestry. As a senior lieutenant he was adopted by a treecat which he named Odysseus in the mid-19th Century PD.
Around 1908 PD, he had risen to the rank of Admiral and was in command of the space station HMSS Vulcan in orbit of his home planet. He hosted a dinner for Honor Harrington when she returned from her political exile on Grayson to once again serve in the RMN. When she commented on his taste in wine, he admitted that his father, who was still alive at the time, preferred retsina, which he himself found all but undrinkable. (HH6)
