Argus was a Haven-designed system of stealthed sensor platforms designed to secretly monitor star systems of the Manticoran Alliance.
In 1905 PD, Argus was used to spy on the Hancock System. In the Yeltsin's Star System, Admiral Caparelli and Admiral Givens set a trap for the Havenites, which remained undiscovered because the People's Navy could not deploy Argus there due to asteroid mining. PNS Alexander was one of the ships assigned to retrieve Operation Argus data. (HH3)
A much more sophisticated net of Argus platforms was deployed by Shannon Foraker for the restored Republican Navy in the late 1910s PD. The data it collected was of great importance for Operation Thunderbolt. (HH10)
