The April Massacre took place in the People's Republic of Haven in April 1861 PD, when a group of Dolist protesters were killed by authorities. The killing was actually accidental and resulted from a botched attempt to get the whole situation under control.
The massacre laid the foundations for the rise of a group of rebels which set out to bring justice upon those responsible, calling itself the "April Tribunal". (HH8)
